Al-'Moallīm is the principal scholarship of the Trust for undergraduate students, given in the name of Allah, the Teacher, from Whom all knowledge descends and to Whom the seeking of it returns. Every application is read individually — marks, family circumstances, the cost of the course and the hardship behind the application all shape the final award, so no fixed figure is published. It is renewable for the remaining years of the degree, and asks nothing of the student in return but honest effort and the du'ā of the seeker: Rabbi zidnī 'ilmā — my Lord, increase me in knowledge.
